I got Tinkerbell from the "Charleston/Kanawha Animal Shelter" on December 1, 2006. When I got there, everybody was
waiting in line to get to the animals. Everyone was pushing and running. I was trying to pick out "my best friend"
and this girl said that there are two dogs downstairs that are recovering from their spay surgery. When we went downstairs,
the pups had just been bought from surgery. They bought her out to me so I could hold her for a minute. She was
still asleep from the surgery.
I had to wait 1 hour for the medicine to wear off before she could leave. She was just so nervous. I took her
home and we went and laid on my bed until she came to herself. She was shaking so bad. But after a while, she
was happy. When we would go to sleep, she would tuck her head up by my neck and would lay on my pillow!
She is a FIRECRACKER now! She is in to everything left and right... coming and going!
